"Database Engine is an Unrecognizable Format" message
Microsoft currently has a problem with the Access 2007 Runtime download from their web site. It's seems it's older than the version of Access 2007 I used to compile BarLoad 5 and BarLoad 5 Demo so you will see an error stating "the database is an unrecognizable format".
After installing Access Runtime you'll need to replace the MSAccess.exe file on your PC with the newer version (Service Pack 1). This file isn't available on line that I know of so I've placed a copy of it here.
Right-click the Download MSAccess.exe link below and select Save as...
Save the file to you PC in any location, Desktop, My Documents, etc., just remember where you save it.
After it's finished downloading open My Computer, C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office 12.
Locate MSACCESS.EXE and rename it to MSACCESSRuntime.exe or whatever you wish to call it.
Copy the new MSACCESS.EXE file you saved from the web site into the C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office 12 folder.
Try opening BarLoad again from the Programs menu as you normally would.
